Adding email account to your iPhone IOS 6.x mobile device

Locate and open your "Settings"
Find and press "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" in the Settings section.


Below screen appear and press "Add Account..."


Below screen appear and move down to the bottom


You would see "Other" and press it


Below screen appear, Press "Add Mail Account"


After pressing "Add Mail Account" below screen appear and enter the required information, we use support@uchk.net as an example
## Name : Display on the sent out email
## Description : Used for your own account identification
Press "Next"


Below screen appears, you will find the default is to use the IMAP because this is a mobile device, IMAP will only fetch mail header information, thus reducing data traffic.
You will find preliminary information from the previous step pass down already


Move down little and you would find Incoming Mail Server setting
Please enter your IMAP Host Name, use full email address as User Name and your password
If you have a domain name, eg. domain.com, then the IMAP server name should be "imap.domain.com", and in our example we are uchk.net, so;
IMAP server name is : imap.uchk.net


Move down little more and you would find Outgoing Mail Server setting
If you have a domain name, eg. domain.com, then the SMTP server name should be "smtp.domain.com", and in our example we are uchk.net, so;
SMTP server name is : smtp.uchk.net
Then press "Next"


Click "Next" will begin authentication, this process can take up to 5 minutes long !
When imcoming server authentication is completed, the following screen appears, as you are using a shared hosting service and your domain name do not has SSL certificate provided, so press "Yes" to not using SSL.


After you press "Yes" another outgoing (SMTP) mail server authentication is started, this process can take up to 5 minutes long too !
When the outgoing (SMTP) mail server authentication is completed, the following screen will appear again, as above explained because you are using a shared hosting service and your domain name do not has SSL certificate provided, so press "Yes" to not using SSL.and go next step


The basic setup is complete, click "Save"


From now on you could receive email on your iPhone mobile device
